The 183,538 square metres of land adjacent to the project was also allocated for the construction of parking lots for cars and buses. This is in order to reduce traffic congestion within residential areas. At a cost of 1 billion and two and five hundred million Qatari riyals and the general plan of the project takes into account the preservation of the privacy of the residents of the city in contrast to the current workers’ housing in the informal areas, The design of the project is also environmentally and socially sensitive. Such designs help improve the living conditions of employment and ensure a healthy environment and all amenities, taking into account the multiplicity of their nationalities and cultures.
